The Boston Celtics called in a big gun in their efforts to recruit Kevin Durant to Causeway Street, and that gun came out firing.
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, a four-time Super Bowl champion and an all-around legend in Boston, joined the Celtics contingent in the Hamptons courting Durant, but it seems Brady might have added a little something special to his pitch.
Durant flew to Boston on Friday, according to the Daily News, before flying back to the Hamptons with Brady in a 14-seat plane.
Oh, to be a fly on those walls.
We only can imagine what the two talked about, but Durant long has admired Brady from afar.
Man Tom Brady is like a perfect QB…seems like he never makes any mistakes

It seems Durant isn’t the only one. Celtics players Isaiah Thomas and Kelly Olynyk, who also were part of the meeting with Durant, posted photos with Brady on Saturday night.
The Celtics now must sit and wait.
Durant has one more meeting scheduled with the Miami Heat on Sunday, and ESPN reported, via league sources, that he will make his decision in the next 24 to 36 hours.
