Uncertainty abounds as the New England Patriots, more than likely led by rookie quarterback Jacoby Brissett, take on the Houston Texans on Thursday night in a battle of NFL unbeatens.
Brissett is expected to get the nod, according to multiple reports, after interim Patriots starter Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a shoulder injury during Sunday’s win over the Miami Dolphins.
The 2-0 Texans, meanwhile, are seeking their first-ever win at Gillette Stadium. They’ve been outscored 123-49 in three previous trips to Foxboro, the most recent of which came during the 2012 postseason.
