Watch Tim Tebow Hit A Home Run On First Pitch He Sees In Mets ‘Debut’

Say what you want about the guy, but Tim Tebow’s baseball career is off to an impressive start.

The former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner played in his first instructional league game Wednesday for the New York Mets and made an immediate impact.

Like, right away. Tebow hit a home run on the very first pitch he saw.

That’s bad news for anyone hoping the Tebow hype will die any time soon.

It probably should go without saying that Tebow has a long way to go before he reaches the big leagues, and let’s not go putting him in Cooperstown after hitting one home run in an instructional league game on the back fields in Florida.

But it’s still pretty impressive, given the circumstances. We’re just surprised Tebow didn’t save the blast for extra innings.
