Jaylen Brown suffered one of the scariest-looking injuries you’ll ever see on a basketball court, but it sounds like it could have been much worse.
The Boston Celtics swingman left Thursday night’s win over the Minnesota Timberwolves after a hellacious fall on his head and neck while dunking in the third quarter.
Celtics coach Brad Stevens gave an encouraging update after the game, and the Celtics tweeted from their team account that Brown would travel with the team back to Boston.
Shortly after the game ended, Brown tweeted an update of his own, indicating he was feeling “OK,” with one unsurprising exception.
Appreciate everybody I'm ok .. Got a headache tho 🤕 good team win !!

The Celtics, who clinched a playoff spot with their win Thursday, don’t play again until Sunday night, when they welcome the Indiana Pacers to Boston.
