1:15 p.m.: It sounds as if the Mets are going to do everything possible in order to acquire J.T. Realmuto from the Marlins, even if it involves trading Noah Syndergaard … to the Padres?
#Mets have discussed three-team trades with multiple teams trying to get Realmuto, at this point to no avail. Framework of one proposal, per sources: Realmuto-plus to #Mets, Syndergaard to #Padres, young players to #Marlins. Not close. Just one of many ideas kicked around.

1:05 p.m.: There is a lot going on with that Indians-Mariners trade, which is actually an Indians-Mariners-Rays trade. The deal is now official, and here’s what it looks like.
Cleveland acquires: Carlos Santana, Jake Bauers
Seattle acquires: Edwin Encarnacion, 77th pick in 2019 competitive balance draft
Tampa Bay acquires: Yandy Diaz, player to be named later
Got it? Good.
12:20 p.m.: A couple of big-name sluggers on the move, with Carlos Santana heading back to Cleveland.

11:10 a.m.: As we said, the final day of the winter meetings typically is slow.
There has been a major development at the Winter Meetings. For the first time in memory, there is a coffee stand with barista in the media room.

9:55 a.m.: From the “In case you missed it” department, the New York Mets shored up their bullpen by bringing back a familiar face, reliever Jeurys Familia. The deal is worth a reported $30 million so that all worked out pretty well for the Mets. New York traded the right-hander to Oakland in July, essentially for a couple of lottery tickets/depth pieces and international pool money.
The Mets have addressed their bullpen by agreeing to a three-year deal with Jeurys Familia, a source confirms.

9:25 a.m.: Perhaps the biggest news of the final “day,” especially around these parts, is Joe Kelly is on his way back to the West Coast. The California kid is heading home, reportedly cashing in on a three-year deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Sources confirm the Los Angeles Dodgers are nearing an agreement with Joe Kelly, as @Ken_Rosenthal and @ByRobertMurray reported. Deal would be for three years and ~$25 million.

9:15 a.m.: Traditionally, the final day of the MLB winter meetings is the quietest of the entire week.
Aside from the Rule 5 draft, the final day usually centers around everyone just trying to get out of town, but that doesn’t mean news can’t trickle in, especially as teams perhaps gather with big-name free agents one more time before all go their separate ways.
Once again, we’ll have you covered with all the latest news and rumors right here with the winter meetings live blog, so keep it here throughout the day for all that might happen.
