Bruins GM Don Sweeney Takes Part In Annual Martin Richard Foundation Run
Richard was one of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing victims
The Boston Bruins are known for having big hearts, especially when it comes to charity.
And general manager Don Sweeney continued that tradition this weekend.
The Bruins general manager ran the MR8K race Saturday, virtually, to benefit the Martin Richard Foundation honoring the Boston Marathon bombing victim, per the team. And he sent a special message after completing his run.
Awesome stuff.
Richard, eight years old, was the youngest of three people killed on the day of the tragedy in 2013.
