Winter Storm Gail created a winter wonderland at the home of the Boston Red Sox

Winter Storm Gail walloped the Northeast on Thursday, dropping more than a foot of snow in several locations.

And while the weather was a bit frightful, the scene at Fenway Park was delightful.

Just like Gillette Stadium to the south, the home of the Boston Red Sox looked like a winter wonderland under a fresh blanket of snow. And it was quite a sight to see.

It’s obviously been some time since fans have packed into “America’s Most Beloved Ballpark,” but there could be plenty of new faces on the field for them to cheer on once they return to the park.
