Brian Johnson seems to be OK after being hit in the head by a line drive Saturday during a game with the Triple-A Pawtucket Red Sox.

An examination showed the left-hander, who pitched one game for the Boston Red Sox in 2015, avoided any serious injury, but this isn’t the only time this has happened to Johnson.

In his second professional start with the Single-A Lowell Spinners, Johnson was hit in the face by a line drive and suffered multiple orbital fractures. Johnson is an important part of the Boston organization, and he showed tremendous courage in getting back to the mound as quick as he did.
