Another week, another star NFL player injured. This time, it’s Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Again.
Roethlisberger left Sunday’s 38-35 defeat of the Oakland Raiders with a foot injury, the details of which slowly are leaking out. ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the Pittsburgh QB is expected to miss some game action.
Ben Roethlisberger has a mid-foot sprain and is expected to be sidelined "a few weeks", per source.

Steelers initially suspected Ben Roethlisberger suffered LisFranc injury; feel relieved he didn't. Steelers play Browns next week before bye

Sounds like Ben Roethlisberger misses next Sunday's game vs. Browns, takes bye week to rest, then likely to return Week 12 at Seattle.

Schefter’s reports are somewhat encouraging for Steelers fans and Roethlisberger owners, as the Week 11 bye provides an extra week of time for Roethlisberger to heal before missing time.
Landry Jones will likely start in Week 10 against a mediocre Cleveland Browns defense. Jones played OK in two games filling in for Roethlisberger earlier this season, passing for 377 yards with three touchdowns and three turnovers (two interceptions, one fumble) in two games against the Arizona Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs. Pittsburgh went 1-1 in those contests.
That said, Jones could be worth taking a flyer on in Week 10 versus Cleveland if desperate, but avoid starting Jones unless absolutely desperate. If Roethlisberger misses extended time beyond the bye, Pittsburgh will travel to face the Seattle Seahawks, a game in which Jones should be avoided at all costs.
