It would have been ludicrous just two years ago, but it’s time for fantasy football owners to bench Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, particularly in leagues that start one QB each week.
Manning has thrown just two touchdown passes with seven interceptions in his last three games. He’s also having trouble throwing beyond 15 yards and the Broncos rushing attack isn’t giving him much help. It makes sense to sit Manning and find a more reliable option, whether it comes from your bench, the waiver wire or the trade market.
NESN.com’s Nicholas Goss discussed benching Manning — among several hot topics — with FOX Sports fantasy analyst D.J. Foster on the latest podcast.
