The Bruins are battling for the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, and with the trade deadline passed, it appears Boston is finally hitting its stride.
The B’s have won three of their last four games (5-1-1 in their last seven), but with a grueling upcoming schedule, the Bruins will need more consistent play from the fourth line and reliable goaltending from backup Niklas Svedberg, among other factors to widen their lead in the playoff race.
In this week’s podcast, NESN.com Bruins beat writer Nick Goss joins Andrew Oak to discuss Boston’s recent success and upcoming matchups. They also are joined by NHL.com and CBS Boston Sports writer Matt Kalman for more Bruins analysis.
