Mike Tomlin, Steelers Create Most Useless Patriots Controversy Yet (Podcast)

We’d say the hoopla over contrived controversies involving the New England Patriots has finally gone over the top, if it hadn’t already gone way over the top long ago.

The latest “-gate” is Radio-Gate, or Headset-Gate or Whole-Lot-of-Nothing-Gate, whichever you prefer. This time, it’s Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers complaining about foul play with radio headsets — over which the Patriots themselves have almost no control.

NESN.com’s Michaela Vernava welcomed Patriots beat writer Doug Kyed to try to make sense of the dumbest scandal yet, plus NESN.com’s Sam Galanis got on the phone with Tom Mazza, principal at Forest Park Middle School, which is temporarily being renamed “Tom Brady Middle School.”
