by Marcus Kwesi O'Mard

Feb 25, 2015

Brendan RodgersLiverpool has risen from the ashes of its disastrous start to the 2014-15 season and now finds itself positioned to achieve the goals it set at the beginning of the campaign.

The Reds have mounted an impressive run in the winter months. Liverpool is unbeaten in 10 Premier League games since the 3-0 loss to Manchester United on Dec. 14 and only has lost once in its last 18 games in all competitions.

Manager Brendan Rodgers deserves credit for turning Liverpool’s season around and devising a system that has improved the Reds’ defense and allowed a number of attacking players to flourish.

NESN.com soccer editor Marcus Kwesi O’Mard is joined by NBC Sports’ Premier League analyst Robbie Mustoe, who shares his views on the current state of affairs at Anfield. Mustoe also touches on the first legs of the UEFA Champions League’s round of 16, particularly Arsenal’s shock loss to Monaco on Wednesday.
