Blueliners Zdeno Chara, David Warsofsky, Torey Krug and Kevan Miller are all injured, yet the Boston Bruins have managed to win five consecutive games after completing a 4-0-0 homestand. Zach Trotman and Joe Morrow have been pleasant surprises, filling the defensive void nicely.
First-line center David Krejci will miss at least the next two games due to injury, so the road ahead doesn’t seem to get any easier for the Bruins. Luckily for them, they’re playing well and carrying momentum as their successful homestand came to an end.
