NHL: Boston Bruins at Toronto Maple LeafsBlueliners Zdeno Chara, David Warsofsky, Torey Krug and Kevan Miller are all injured, yet the Boston Bruins have managed to win five consecutive games after completing a 4-0-0 homestand. Zach Trotman and Joe Morrow haveĀ been pleasant surprises, filling the defensive void nicely.

First-line centerĀ David Krejci will miss at least the next two games due to injury, so the road ahead doesn’t seem to get any easier for the Bruins. Luckily for them, they’re playing well and carrying momentum as their successful homestand came toĀ an end.

As the B’s prepare for a two-game road trip against the Atlantic Division rival Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs, NESN.com Bruins beat writer Nick Goss and MassLive.com’s Jen McCaffrey sat down to share their thoughts on Boston’s recent performance and what lies ahead.
