Which 2010 Yankee Acquisition Will Have the Greatest Impact Down the Stretch?

Which 2010 Yankee Acquisition Will Have the Greatest Impact Down the Stretch? The Yankees are heading into the final stretch with plenty of late speed under the saddle.

Already in first place, the Bronx Bombers went out and nabbed veterans Lance Berkman, Kerry Wood and Austin Kearns at the trade deadline to mix in with the club's already potent roster.

This trio joins outfielder Curtis Granderson, also a newcomer to the 2010 Yankees, as key pieces to a World Series puzzle.

Granderson was hampered with a groin injury earlier this season but has since returned and is anchoring the back-end of the Yanks powerful order. Through 82 contests, he's hitting .246 with 45 runs scored, 10 homers and 42 RBIs.

Berkman, meanwhile, has struggled as a Yankee, hitting just .133 with one RBI in 15 at-bats. Wood has also started off on the wrong foot as he's coughed up one run on a pair of hits and two walks in just 1 2/3 innings.

Which 2010 Yankee acquisition will have the greatest impact down the stretch? Text "SOX1" to 542542 for Granderson. Text "SOX2" to 542542 for Wood. Or, text "SOX3" to 542542 for Berkman.
