Former NHL All-Star Glen Wesley may be best known for winning a Stanley Cup title in Carolina, but the defenseman actually got his start in Boston.
The B's selected Wesley with the No. 3 overall pick in 1987, behind Pierre Turgeon (No. 1 overall) and Brendan Shanahan (No. 2 overall). After seven seasons in The Hub, where Wesley notched over 300 points, the B's traded him to the Hartford Whalers in 1994 for three future first-round selections (1995, 1996, 1997).
Wesley went on to play three years in Hartford before the team packed up and moved south to Carolina. He retired in 2008 with 10 years of service in Carolina.
Can you name the three players the Bruins ended up drafting with these picks?
