At least one New York City store wasted no time in trying to rid its shelves of Jeremy Lin merchandise, drastically marking down items after the Knick guard announced Saturday that he will miss about six weeks with a torn meniscus in his left knee.

A tweet by ESPN's Michele Steel showed a bumper sticker discounted to 14 cents and temporary tattoos marked down to just 24 cents.

Lin is a restricted free agent at the end of this season, so the Knicks would have the right to match any contract offer Lin receives from another team. The Knicks' payroll situation is tight, though, so it would take some contract finagling by both the Knicks and Lin's camp to keep him in New York.
