Michelle Jenneke might be a name that many sports fans recognize, but the world at large could be getting ready for a breakout year by the Australian hurdler in 2013.
Jenneke is the highest-ranking athlete chosen in AskMen.com’s Top 99 Women of 2013 list, beating out the likes of Kate Middleton and Jessica Biel for a top-10 spot. While those two might have the Hollywood star power that Jenneke does not, the 19-year-old hurdler can at least brag about the viral video power of her pre-race dance routine.
Joining Jenneke on that Top 99 list are several other notable athletes, including UFC barrier-breaker Ronda Rousey and Olympic hurdler-turned-bobsledder Lolo Jones. How many of them will live up to the hype in the new year? Only time will tell.
