Don’t worry Patriots fans, you may still see your fair share of turnovers from the Jets’ quarterback position in 2013.
Michael Vick is open to signing with the Jets if Mark Sanchez is moved, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. Rex Ryan “loves” Vick, according to Mehta, so the courtship could have some legs.
Sanchez has thrown 17 interceptions in 2012, while losing seven fumbles for 24 total turnovers in 14 starts — an average 1.7 turnovers per start. Vick threw nine picks in 2012 with five lost fumbles for 14 turnovers in nine games — averaging 1.6 turnovers per start.
If Vick could replicate his impressive 2010 performance — by far his best in the NFL — he could be a savior for the Jets.
