The NFL’s most talked-about team has made headlines yet again.
The New York Jets announced Monday afternoon that they have officially signed nine-year veteran quarterback David Garrard. Garrard will now join the quarterback circus in East Rutherford alongside Mark Sanchez, Greg McElroy and some guy named Tim Tebow.
Garrard seemed very pleased with the Jets’ move, voicing his excitement via Twitter after receiving the news.
Just made it official!! I am a New York Jet!!!!!

This move still doesn’t solidify any positions on the Jets depth chart — it’s still anyone’s job to win, despite offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg‘s comments.
Garrard will be coming off arthroscopic knee surgery, which is why the Miami Dolphins released him just before the start of the 2012 season.
