It’s no wonder why Orlando Magic fans hold some contempt for Dwight Howard. He requested multiple trades out of town during his eight seasons with the Magic, and he finally got his wish in August when he was moved to Los Angeles.
Tuesday night marked his first time back in Orlando, and as expected, the All-Star center was booed heavily during pregame introductions and during the game. It probably didn’t help that Howard had a dominating performance in the Lakers win.
Howard had 39 points and 16 rebounds in the 106-97 win. The Laker attempted 39 free throws (tying an NBA record) and hit 25 of them.
