Pedro Ciriaco, David Ross in Lineup as Red Sox Open Three-Game Series in Cleveland

Pedro Cirico, Nick SwisherWhen the Red Sox head to Progressive Field to take on the Cleveland Indians, it will be the team’s first official on-field interaction with former manager Terry Francona. While Francona did visit with the squad last season as an analyst for ESPN, this time he will do so from the opposing dugout as the first-year skipper of the Indians.

The Red Sox would very much like to have the better of Tito in this first matchup, and the team is mixing up the lineup to give itself the best chance of doing just that Tuesday night. Pedro Ciriaco is getting the start at shortstop for the Sox in place of a struggling Stephen Drew, while David Ross will catch Felix Doubront instead of Jarrod Saltalamacchia.

That lineup will face Cleveland starter Ubaldo Jimenez, who enters the game as the owner of an 0-1 record and a 6.97 ERA through two starts. Check out the starting lineups for both teams below.
