Bill Belichick will hit the links with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in a foursome at the AT&T Pro Am at Pebble Beach this weekend, and he’s preparing by playing a round with another future Hall of Fame quarterback.
Peyton Manning, fresh off the Denver Broncos’ loss in Super Bowl XLVIII, had his golf gear on the course Wednesday, playing alongside Belichick in a practice round.
The longtime rivals weren’t exactly partners on the course, but they were playing in the same foursome one day before the four-day tournament began. So, while they probably weren’t exchanging trade secrets, two of the game’s most knowledgeable students could have enjoyed swapping tales.
