Soon after breaking down his own bathroom door after it locked him in, U.S. bobsledder Johnny Quinn received an invitation from the Denton (Texas) Police Department to train with their SWAT team.

After seeing his destructive skills, it’s easy to see why they’d want him. Quinn made headlines with his straightforward escape attempt, and received even more attention when his bad luck continued thanks to a faulty elevator.

Now, it appears that the Denton Police want to give him an opportunity to put his door-breaking skills to good use. They sent Quinn an invitation to attend one of their SWAT training courses, and according to Quinn’s agent, he accepted. Check out the Denton PD’s tweets below:

While Quinn has yet to compete at the Olympics, it appears that he will have plenty of career options once his time in Sochi is complete. He’s already spent time as a professional football player in the NFL and CFL, so a career as a SWAT team member might not be that unrealistic.
