Two field hockey players from Australia got a bit of the royal treatment this week.

The Australian national team is competing at the Commonwealth Games — a multi-sport event with 71 countries in attendance — in Glasgow, Scotland. Australia won its game against Malaysia 4-0 on Thursday. After the game ended, word spread that Queen Elizabeth arrived early for England’s game against Wales.

Australian players started taking selfies, hoping that they might get the Queen in a photo. Jayde Taylor did just that.

Not only did Taylor get the Queen in her picture, but the Queen even smiled for the camera. That is awesome.

“Brooke (Peris) and I planned it so that when she came out the door she would be behind us,” Taylor said, via ABC News. “And then she came out and smiled at the camera! We were in the right spot at the right time.”

Even if Australia wins the tournament this year, this photobomb could be the highlight of the year for this team.
