It’s Johnny Manziel like you’ve never seen him before.
With Brian Hoyer still holding down the starting job under center, the Cleveland Browns opted Sunday to line Manziel up at wide receiver for one play. The gimmick fooled the Baltimore Ravens, and Hoyer was able to hit his backup for a big gain down the sideline.
Unfortunately for the Browns, a penalty nullified the play, wiping Manziel’s first career catch off the books.
