Eric DeckerThe New York Jets host the Miami Dolphins on “Monday Night Football” to wrap up Week 13 of the NFL season. The Dolphins opened as a four-point favorite, but the line has climbed to as much as a touchdown at some sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The moneyline opened with Miami at -245 and New York at +205, and it has climbed to -300 for the Dolphins and +250 for the Jets.

The Dolphins are cruising, having won five of six overall and four of their last five road games against the spread, but have lost five straight “Monday Night Football” matchups.

The Jets are stumbling again, going 2-8-1 against the spread in their last 11 games, and 1-5 ATS in their last six home games according to the OddsShark NFL Database. The Jets have been a home underdog of at least a touchdown in 18 games since 1980, and have only won two of those games. The Dolphins are 5-1 ATS and straight up in their last six road games against the Jets.

The total is set at 41.5 points on the Week 13 NFL betting lines. The total has gone UNDER in six of the last seven games between these two teams. It has also gone UNDER in five of the last six between these two in New Jersey. The OddsShark Computer predicts a 28-9 Dolphins victory, which would cover the spread but come up short of the total.

The Dolphins will likely be without tight end Charles Clay and cornerback Cortland Finnegan, as both are listed as doubtful. Clay suffered a hamstring and knee injury in Week 11 and will likely miss his second straight game. Finnegan is still recovering from an ankle injury that will likely cost him his third straight game. Starting left tackle Ja?Wuan James suffered a stinger in Week 12, and is listed as questionable after being limited in practice all week.

The Jets will be without defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson. He suffered a turf toe injury in Week 12, and has already been ruled out for Week 13. His absence opens the door for the Dolphins run game, as Lamar Miller, listed as probable, will play. The most notable lineup change for the Jets is the expected return of Geno Smith at quarterback. He replaced an ineffective Michael Vick last week against Buffalo, and Rex Ryan said he anticipates Smith will start on Monday.
