The 2015 NHL All-Star Skills Competition provided several memorable moments, but none of the goals scored in any of the events were as incredible as Nikita Gusev’s in the KHL’s version Sunday.
Gusev combines multiple moves and tricks into one spectacular effort that will be shown on highlight reels for a long time.
This is the kind of creativity and skill that’s lacking in the the breakaway challenge, which has become the most boring event at the NHL All-Star Skills Competition.
