John Lollar is more flexible than you.

Lollar is a pitcher for the Murray State baseball team, and he’s ascended to relative baseball Internet fame thanks to what he’s able to do with his left leg, specifically during his windup.

Jeff Drummond was able to capture Lollar’s crazy windup on film, and it should put yoga instructors (not to mention Orlando Hernandez) to shame. Lollar’s left leg goes sky-high in a seemingly uncomfortable position when he delivers a pitch from the windup.

It looks just as crazy in a video from afar, too.

You would think that type of windup would lead to some sort of deception that could ultimately fool hitters. So far this season, however, that hasn’t been the case. Lollar is 0-1 with a 5.74 ERA in 15 2/3 innings this season, and opponents are hitting .379 against him.

He’s just a sophomore, though, which means he’s got plenty of time to make the most out of that quirky motion.
