The last time legendary two-sport athlete Bo Jackson graced a professional field was 1994, so kids these days have to learn his legacy from those who witnessed it.

And Drake LaRoche was lucky enough to learn it from the man himself.

Chicago White Sox first baseman Adam LaRoche’s 13-year-old son was watching the team warm up before a spring training game Thursday, and he chatted with Jackson, who’s serving as a special instructor for the club. The young LaRoche apparently didn’t know much about him, so Jackson summed up his MLB and NFL careers for the teenager.

That’s a history lesson that Drake likely will never forget.
