Boston Bruins defenseman Torey Krug was among the first 15 players selected to Team USA’s roster for the 2015 IIHF World Championships.

USA Hockey made the announcement Tuesday afternoon. Here’s the full list of the 15 players selected so far. More players will be added before the roster deadline, which could include players from teams eliminated in the first round of the 2015 Stanley Cup playoffs.

This year’s tournament begins May 1 and will take place in the Czech Republic capital city of Prague. The United States hasn’t won a gold medal at the World Championships since 1960.

Krug tallied 39 points (12 goals, 27 assists) in 78 games for the Bruins this season. His playmaking skill, speed and ability to quarterback a power play should prove valuable for Team USA in a tournament that usually features high-scoring, fast-paced action.
