The past few months have been a whirlwind for Josh Hamilton.
The Los Angeles Angels slugger suffered a relapse with drugs in February, leading to a battle with the club’s front office and apparently a divorce from his wife, Katie. Now, the outfielder seems to be starting fresh, as his $16.5 million home in Orange County, Calif., is on the market.
The 10,850-square-foot Newport Beach pad features six bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms, as well as plenty of space for entertainment. The half-acre property boasts harbor views and an infinity-edge pool.
The Angels reportedly are looking into possible trades or a buyout of Hamilton’s contract to settle their dispute, FOX Sports’ Ken Rosenthal reported Saturday, so the five-time All-Star’s next purchase could be outside of California.
