This probably won’t sit well with New England Patriots fans.

The country music world came together for one of its biggest nights Sunday for the 50th Academy of Country Music awards show. The star-studded event was held at AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys.

America’s Team was well-represented, too, with Cowboys cheerleaders on stage to hand out the trophies, along with Cowboys tight end Jason Witten on hand as a presenter. Witten’s teammate, Tony Romo, also made an appearance to introduce an act.

Before doing so, however, Romo participated in a little skit with co-hosts Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan that included a couple of zingers aimed at the Patriots and DeflateGate.

Romo obviously didn’t write the joke himself, but we’re guessing that fact won’t keep him from drawing the ire of Patriots fans all too willing to pump their chests about their most recent Super Bowl win, something Romo doesn’t know much about.
