The veteran forward signed a one-year contract with the Boston Bruins last October and tallied four points (three goals, one assist) in 23 games. Gagne took a leave of absence in December and left the team for personal reasons in January following the death of his father.
Gagne has played in 822 games in his NHL career with 291 goals and 310 assists. He also was part of the Los Angeles Kings’ 2012 Stanley Cup-winning team.
