Canada Day  must be like a second Christmas to Don Cherry. In fact, it’s probably even better than Christmas.

The former NHL coach and current “Hockey Night In Canada” analyst is a living legend in Canada. He’s a Canadian treasure, even. His love for hockey might be surpassed only by his love for Canada — and insane suits. So you just knew he was going to bust out a fantastic suit for Canada Day, which was celebrated Wednesday.

Cherry was in Toronto on Wednesday and threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Blue Jays’ game with the Boston Red Sox. He did so in this incredibly Canadian suit:

Of course, this is nothing new for Cherry. In the past year or so alone, we’ve seen him rock a ridiculous St. Patrick’s Day outfit and a snowflake-covered suit. The Canada Day suit is a tradition, too, as he opted for this red-and-white number last year.
