The Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins kicked off their 2015 NFL season Sunday at FedEx Field, and it was a rough game to watch.

Lots of penalties and fundamental mistakes cost both teams in the first half, but nothing could compare to one hilarious play in the third quarter, during which both teams had trouble recovering a fumble.

Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill was about to be sacked when he fumbled the ball. It kept rolling toward midfield while two Miami offensive linemen failed to recover it.

A Redskins player appeared to finally grab it, but he then lost it. Fortunately for him, one of his teammates recovered the ball on the ground to give Washington possession.

The Dolphins got the last laugh, however, scoring 17 unanswered points en route to a 17-10 victory.
