Milan Lucic wasted little time endearing himself to Los Angeles Kings fans.
It took just four games for the power forward to drop his gloves — in the preseason no less — as he took on Anaheim Ducks defenseman Josh Manson on Tuesday night. The bout was the first for Lucic since he was traded from the Boston Bruins in the offseason.
The fight, all things considered, was one of the best we’ve seen in a while. The two players unloaded a bevy of punches, even separating at one point before getting back together and resuming the scrap.
As you can tell from the video, Lucic’s efforts were well-received from the new fans. However, it’s unlikely the Kings want to see Lucic making this too much of a habit during his time in Tinseltown.
