Wes Welker looks to be gearing up for a comeback.

ESPN’s Josina Anderson reported Tuesday that Welker and fellow free-agent wide receiver Hakeem Nicks will work out for the New York Giants on Tuesday.

Welker’s yet to appear in a game this season after his contract with the Denver Broncos expired following last season. The wideoutmissed two games last season due to injuries, and he caught 49 passes, the fewest receptions he’d had since the 2005 season. Welker also averaged only 9.5 yards per catch — the lowest of his career — and scored just two touchdowns.

Nicks, meanwhile, is a former Giants receiver. He spent the first five years of his career with New York before spending the 2014 season with the Indianapolis Colts. Nicks caught just 38 passes, averaging 10.7 yards per grab in 2014.
