When Steven Gerrard speaks, Liverpool fans listen.

Gerrard appeared on Liverpool radio station Radio City’s “Legends” program Tuesday to give his thoughts on a host of topics he knows intimately. Gerrard joined hosts Steve Hothersall and (Liverpool FC legend) John Aldridge for a wide-ranging discussion about the current state of affairs at his hometown and former club, Liverpool FC, his new club, Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Galaxy and his soon-to-be-published autobiography “My Story.”

Gerrard described what it’s like watching Liverpool play live from afar and the ungodly hours he must wake up in order to do so.

The former Liverpool captain also revealed which of the Reds teams he featured in he considers to be the best.

Gerrard also touched on his decision to leave Liverpool for the Galaxy earlier this year and some key factors in his big call.
