Tom Brady Sets Another Patriots Record By Starting Sunday Vs. Jets

Tom Brady continues to rewrite the New England Patriots’ record book.

Brady made his 213th career start Sunday when the Patriots hosted the New York Jets at Gillette Stadium, moving him ahead of Bruce Armstrong for the most career starts in franchise history.

Brady, a sixth-round draft pick (No. 199 overall) in 2000, will go down as the greatest player in Patriots history for countless reasons, including his four Super Bowl titles (and counting). He’s been as consistent and as durable as they come — his lost 2008 season, notwithstanding — since taking over as New England’s starting quarterback, and he hasn’t lost a step at age 38.

Brady seemingly sets a new record every time he takes the field nowadays. And the future Hall of Famer might put every record out of reach before hanging up the cleats, especially if he accomplishes his goal of playing another 10 years.
