The 2016 Baseball Hall of Fame ballot was released Monday.

Ken Griffey Jr. is among 32 former Major League Baseball players — 17 returning and 15 newcomers — on the ballot. Eligible members of the Baseball Writers’ Association of America must mail their ballots by Dec. 21, and the results of the voting will be announced Jan. 6.

Trevor Hoffman and Billy Wagner are among the other notable newcomers on the 2016 ballot, which also features players who received at least 5 percent of the vote on last year’s ballot. A player must be selected on 75 percent of the ballots to earn enshrinement into Cooperstown, and each voter can select as many as 10 players on his or her ballot.
