You really have to feel bad for Calvin Johnson at this point.

The Detroit Lions wide receiver is one of the best ever at his position, but like Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders, he’s probably not going to win anything without leaving the Motor City at some point.

Johnson, like the rest of the world, was completely shocked when the Lions lost Thursday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers on a last-second Hail Mary pass thrown 60-plus yards after a facemask penalty gave Aaron Rodgers and Co. one final chance to win.

In this video below, Megatron is one of many people on the Lions sideline who gave priceless reactions after realizing the game was lost. He fell straight to his knees in disbelief.

Ouch.

That’s the reaction of a man who knows the NFL playoffs are not in his future.

Johnson did score a touchdown in the first quarter with an unbelievable catch, so there’s that.

The Lions probably should’ve put him on the field for the final play. At 6-foot-5, he might have been able to defend the Packers’ Hail Mary better than Detroit’s defensive backs.
