Panthers’ Josh Norman Fires Back: Rodney Harrison ‘Horrible At His Job’

Josh Norman has no time for Rodney Harrison’s negativity.

Harrison, a former NFL safety now serving as an analyst for NBC Sports, said he thinks the Seattle Seahawks currently are more dangerous than the undefeated Carolina Panthers and that Norman could have trouble containing Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones this Sunday, per ProFootballTalk.

The Panthers cornerback took exception to Harrison’s analysis Thursday and fired back on Twitter.

On the surface, it’s a rather juvenile comeback from Norman. I’d advise him to use something more clever or witty in the future. But Harrison essentially questioned Norman’s ability to do his job this weekend in his 1-on-1 matchup with Jones, so firing back by questioning Harrison’s own job qualifications is fair game, I suppose.

Let’s hope the Week 14 showdown in Atlanta is more entertaining than this spat.
