The Boston Celtics will face off against Paul Pierce for what could be the final time Monday night in a crucial matchup.
The Celtics are in Los Angeles to take on Pierce, Doc Rivers and the Clippers in the second stop on their five-game road trip. Boston enters on a four-game winning streak but will face a tall task in a Clippers team that’s won two games in a row and owns the sixth-best record in the NBA at 45-27.
The C’s can earn a season sweep of L.A. with a win Monday, as Boston vanquished the Clippers 139-134Â in an overtime thriller back on Feb. 10.
