Ji-Man Choi ain’t scared of no ghost. Just ask him.

The Los Angeles Angels first baseman claims a ghost visited him Sunday in his bed at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee, according to Cut4. Choi joins a host of other Major League Baseball players who say they have experienced paranormal activity at the Pfister Hotel.

“Oh,” Choi said through an interpreter when asked how he slept Sunday. “Not good. Not good.”

Choi, a rookie out of South Korea, didn’t know about the hotel’s history. But he said he felt a spirit in his bed during the team’s first night there, and it wasn’t the first time.

Choi revealed he had encountered ghosts and spirits many times prior to Sunday, including after he underwent back surgery in 2011.

“I was scared at first so I didn’t want to open my eyes,” Choi said. “I dealt with that a lot more times after that.”

Choi wasn’t aware of the fact Adrian Beltre, Carlos Gomez and Brendan Ryan are just three of several big leaguers who claim to have been haunted at the Pfister Hotel. But none have demonstrated as much willingness to go through the experience again as Choi has.

“I hope it’s a girl,” Choi said laughing. “Nah, nah. Just kidding, you know. … I’ve dealt with it so many times, I don’t really care anymore.”

Apparently “practice makes perfect” applies to both the normal and paranormal.
