If you’re thinking of trash talking Jaylen Brown, you might want to pick someone else.
The No. 3 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft was at Madison Park Community center Wednesday for a basketball clinic held by the Boston Celtics, and one kid dared to challenge the Cal product with some fighting words. And Brown didn’t back down.
“You have to have that instinct,” Brown told MassLive.com’s Jay King. “He challenged me and I just blacked out. He said, ‘You ain’t good.’ He said Ben Simmons (the No. 1 overall draft pick) is better. So I said all right, OK.”

Celtics fans certainly would like to see more of that against NBA defenders for years to come.
