Barcelona earned a thrilling 3-2 road win over Valencia on Saturday thanks to superstar Lionel Messi’s stoppage-time penalty, but that took a backseat after a fan threw a bottle at teammate Neymar’s head during the post-goal celebration. Luis Suarez also apparently was hit with an object.
And as you could see in the video, Messi immediately went toward the home fans and started screaming at them, which you can see a bit of in the video below.
Barcelona’s Paco Alcacer, who used to play at Valencia also was hit in the face by an object earlier in the game.
Barcelona got the last laugh with the win, though.
