The Yankees have made one minor adjustment to their postseason roster, changing things up for the ALCS after sweeping the Twins in the ALDS.

Eric Hinske was taken off the roster for the seven-game series against the Angels in place of Freddy Guzman.

Guzman played in 10 games for the Yankees at the end of the season and saw most of his playing time as a pinch runner. He went 1-for-6 with an RBI for the Yankees, stealing four bases on five attempts. Guzman's role in the series will likely be limited to a pinch-running role.

Hinske hit .226 with seven home runs and 14 RBIs in 39 games with the Yankes. He saw time as a right fielder, left fielder, third baseman, designated hitter and pinch hitter. Though he was on the roster for the ALDS, he did not play in any of the three games.
