Report: Celtics Interested in Acquiring Andres Nocioni in Three-Team Deal After two straight losses and three defeats in their last five games, the Celtics are reportedly looking to shake things up.

ESPN.com is reporting that the C’s may be involved in a three-team deal to acquire Sacramento forward Andres Nocioni. According to the report, the 76ers and Kings are looking to swap Samuel Dalembert for Kenny Thomas but may need a third team — the Celtics — to pull off the deal.

Boston would take Nocioni while Philadelphia would acquire Thomas, Tony Allen and Brian Scalabrine and the Kings would get J.R. Giddens and Dalembert.

The report also indicates that Boston has been interested in the 6-foot-7, 225-pound Argentinian since February when the Kings obtained him from Chicago in a deal for Brad Miller and John Salmons.

In five starts this season, Nocioni is averaging 11.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. In 383 career games, he has averaged 11.9 points per game and has averaged 13.6 points per game in 22 career postseason contests.
