Report: Marc Savard on Ice Prior to Practice

After the Bruins' most recent loss to the Islanders on Monday night, the Black and Gold are searching for answers to get their season going in the right direction. An answer might be coming to them sooner than later.

Marc Savard was on the ice in Wilmington, Mass., on Tuesday morning prior to practice, John Bishop of bostonbruins.com reported via his Twitter page.

Savard was on the ice with work and conditioning coach John Whitesides as he he prepares a return from a broken foot. He was placed on long-term injured reserve on Oct. 21.

Savard has four goals and three assists in seven games for the Bruins this season. He last played in a game on Oct. 17 against Phoenix.
